WIP Tombraider Boots

The work in Progress of my Tombraider boots.

I have used my old boots, I have already worn them for over a year and I've cleaned them and put some new footpads in it since the old ones were severly damaged. My legs are quite thick, or at least the calfs (hope I spelled it right) are and that is why I often have a hard time finding proper boots. But these fit nicely and so I chose to use them for the cosplay, instead or buying new boots.

Next to the boots I also used a few tools to make holes in the boots, I first marked the spots with a white chalkmarker I often use for making patterns on my veltsheets for my Popkes.

Then I asked my boyfriend Carlo to make those shiny golden things you see in the third and fourth picture. It was quite a pain to make all of these so I'm very thankful that he did that for me.
Then I added the shoelaces, in total there are 4. Two of 90cm in one boot and I have put the ends on the inside of the boots.

And then all needed to be added were the legwarmers, which are cheap like €1.70 or something from our local Actionstore. Since that will be over my legs, I won't feel the ends of the shoelaces which are halfway down the boots.
