Description

During my trip to Berlin I took a serie photos, we visited several monuments about WWII. I follow an education to become a history teacher and during this week we approached several ways of dealing with WWII, how to tell students about it and to learn about cerain specific events and persons.

Sans Souci was on my visitlist, I wanted to see it and it made me very happy :D I love palaces, castles and everything that looks like it. It was also nice to get away from the WWII subject which we were dealing with the entire week. Also fascinating but for me visiting Sans Souci was so impressive, so beautiful! Due to the logistic traffic stuff we didn't have time to see it from the inside but the garden surrounding it was already beautiful enough. So next time we visit we will be sure to go inside :D

Oh btw Sans Souci was a palace of Frederick the Great, he was great king known for his militairy strategics of Prussia :)
This Sans Souci palace meant a place for him to not worry about everything as Sans souci means without worries.
Sans Souci was originally a palace where no women were aloud, and he also had Voltaire himself come over there to talk about stuff.
